A Heritage Foundation production

Letchworth Garden City Heritage Foundation has worked ‘behind the scenes’ since 1996, helping Broadway Cinema bring the magic of the movies to the community at a time when many independent picture houses are diminishing.

Over the course of a year, between 2009 and 2010, we welcomed over 141,000 visitors, enjoying the latest 2D and 3D movies, more than 2,200 tubs of ice cream and 7,000 regular soft drinks!

What do we do?

We are here to help maintain and enhance the world’s first Garden City for the enjoyment of everyone who lives, works and plays here. Our investment in our community includes grants to individuals, clubs and societies; development of the estate; working partnerships with local organisations; and by funding and maintaining the following services:

We manage our property portfolio to generate income, which we invest in the community and landscape of the Garden City.
